The Malaysian Nuclear Agency, recognized as an IAEA Collaborating Centre in Advanced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), recently hosted a comprehensive training program for three experts from the Atomic Energy Commission of Syria (AECS). The participants, Mr. Yaser Allouch, Mr. Mohammad Afghani, and Mr. Ahmad Al-Tahhan, underwent intensive training from 28 October to 27 November 2024.
The program encompassed advanced NDT techniques, including Radiographic Testing – Digital (RT-D), Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT), and Thermographic Testing (TT). This initiative underscores Malaysia’s commitment to enhancing global NDT capabilities and fostering international collaboration in the field.
