MSNT paid a courtesy call on JPK Director General Ts. Dr. Mohamad bin Sulaiman at JPK Headquarters in Putrajaya. The status of the national certification scheme for NDT implemented by JPK, future prospects, and continued close cooperation between MSNT and JPK was among the topics discussed during the meeting.

At the end of the meeting, MSNT President Dr. Ilham Mukriz handed the Asia Pacific Federation for NDT (APFNDT) award to Mrs. Salbiah Hussein of JPK to Ts. Dr. Mohamad. The award recognizes the contribution and voluntary effort by Mrs. Salbiah in support of NDT, which was announced and presented during the Asia Pacific Conference for NDT (APCNDT) in Melbourne, Australia.
