The Malaysian Society for Non-Destructive Testing (MSNT) proudly participated in the prestigious NDE 2024 Conference & Exhibition, organized by the Indian Society for Non-Destructive Testing (ISNT). Held from December 12 to 14, 2024, at the Chennai Trade Centre, Tamil Nadu, this flagship event showcased the latest advancements and innovations in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT). It brought together industry leaders from across the globe.

NDE 2024 was a global convergence point for over 1,500 delegates, including representatives from leading industries, researchers, and professionals. The event featured a dynamic exhibition with over 100 exhibitors, offering a hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies and solutions in NDT. Attendees explored advancements in aerospace, automotive manufacturing, power generation, and infrastructure, among other sectors.

Highlights of the Event

• Knowledge Exchange: Over 200 paper presentations provided a deep dive into diverse NDT methodologies, future trends, and real-world applications. The sessions addressed critical topics such as NDE 4.0 and its transformative role in enhancing safety, efficiency, and innovation.

MSNT’s Active Participation

Representing Malaysia as a regional delegate of the Asia-Pacific Federation for Non-Destructive Testing (APFNDT), MSNT’s presence at NDE 2024 underscored its commitment to advancing NDT both regionally and globally. MSNT delegates engaged in key discussions, attended the APFNDT Annual Board Meeting and contributed to dialogues on industry-focused certification and standardization practices.
