Department of Standards Malaysia (Standards Malaysia) has published the new version of Specific Criteria for Accreditation of Mechanical Testing and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) (SC 1.5). The SC 1.5 document which is a supplementary document for MS ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation under the Laboratory Accreditation Scheme of Malaysia (SAMM), sets out the specific requirements to be complied by a mechanical testing and/or Non-Destructive Test (NDT) laboratory. Amendments to SC 1.5 have been made to be in line with the technical changes to the requirements in the latest version of ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
